Food Units: 1 breads and cereals, 0.2 vegetables, 1 fruit, 1 dairy unit
- Rolled oats, raw , 25 g , approx 0.25 cups
- Carrot , 0.25 medium carrot(s) , grated
- Low-fat milk, 1% fat , 0.25 cup(s)
- Low-fat yoghurt, any flavour , 0.5 cup(s)
- Sultanas , 1.5 tablespoon(s)
- Ground cinnamon , 1 pinch(s) , (optional)
Combine rolled oats, carrot, milk, yoghurt, sultanas and cinnamon in a container or jar. Seal container and refrigerate overnight. The oats will be ready to eat in the morning!
TIP: Substitute sultanas for your favourite dried fruit if preferred e.g. raisins, dried apricots or mixed dried fruit.
